Lovely, I have unfurling ferns but my photos are rubbish, must try harder. I think the Americans call these something like fiddlesticks and also I think you can eat them but I have probably made all that up!!!
I used my close up lenses for this photo and very nearly fell into the water as I balanced on the bank! I am not sure about eating them though :))
arh yes you have an SLR ! I have a bridge camera and stil dont know how to use the settings!
