Weekly Photo Challenge: Indulge

When I receive my email from The DailyPost at WordPress, on a Friday, announcing the photo challenge of the week, I usually go to the Thesaurus to look up the various meanings of the “challenge word”.    This is because I endeavour to use some lateral thinking to make my photo contribution interesting.

This week the inspiration is:

Indulge. When we think of the word indulge, food often comes to mind, but indulging isn’t always about food. You can indulge in moments, feelings, emotions, places, and more! It can be a private moment rocking on a hammock, watching a movie on a work day, eating that second piece of chocolate cake, reliving a memory, fantasizing about the future, or treating or pampering yourself.

This week I am not going to try to do something different but am going to be one of the many who have used photographs of food.   After all cake, ice-cream and foodstuffs of similar ilk are usually one of the best treats in life we indulge in and it tends to make us feel good – a little sick afterwards sometimes, but at the time it is most enjoyable.

  1. ooh – yummy! I’ll try and just go for the fruity option, but those coconut kisses look good…

I’ve given up trying to post my link on the WordPress site this week – it just keeps rejecting me out of hand.
If you feel kind enough to try posting it for me, that would be great, but I don’t know if it will work!
    Its VERY frustrating!
I don’t know what is up with WordPress!
