The Weekly Photo Challenge: Wonder (Better late than never!)

I almost fell out of the loop with The Weekly Photo Challenge this week which was WONDER.  Already the challenge for next week has been posted and I haven’t done this week yet.  This is what happens when you go away for a long weekend and take your eye off the ball.

Life is full of wonder – life itself, buildings, places, views and nature.  I have chosen to go down the nature route and take a look at what I had in my library.  These are not new photos, some of you who regularly follow my blog will probably recognise them, but to many of you they will be new and I hope you enjoy looking at them.    Without further ado here is my belated contribution to WONDER.

No.1 – The Wonder of the Sea

No. 2  The Wonder of the Sky

No.3  The Wonder of Nature

Please take time to visit some of the other blogs as the photos are just brilliant.

The next Challenge?   BREAKFAST …. interesting to see what everyone comes up with.

  1. Great shots! I especially like the apples. I feel like I could just reach out and pick one!

  3. Wonderful shots! The first shot of the sea is captured spectacularly. My next favorite is the Apple shot. Perfectly exposed. I have an apple tree in my back yard and know difficult it can be to photograph them.

  4. I’m glad you joined this week because those photos were all full of wonders and amazement. The first two shows the two contrast of the sea, rough and calm, both of which presents their own version of beaty and awe. The sky just magnificent and the wonders of nature, just irresistible. Thanks for sharing a beautiful post. Have a great weekend.

  5. I could stand for hours looking out to sea. It is indeed a “wonder” or is there such a word as “wonderous”?
