There are some beautiful, clever and interesting blogs on the block.   They are all excellent but one or two I find a great inspiration  from and one in particular  is Gwirrels’ Garden.   Liz’s photography skills are  breathtaking and as a  relatively newbie amateur photographer, I have learned a lot over the last year, just by looking at her photographs which have given me a new way at looking at capturing plants and flowers.

I discovered Friday Flowers  on Gwirrel’s Garden blog.  It is a bit like Wordless Wednesday, not a meme but a showcase of flora and fauna with few words posted regularly on a Friday.   I love looking at the variety of photos and until now have not joined in  but have always meant to.

This evening  I called in to see my neighbour (and good friend) for a Friday evening drink and took my camera.   I love her garden, which is shady and full of interesting plants which include collections of Salvia and Euphorbia.

So without any further words below are a selection of the flowers from her garden for Flower Friday.

This post follows on very closely to Garden Bloggers Bloom Day which is on the 15th of each month, but as I never tire of photos of flowers, I hope you don’t either.
