Wow that is an amazing photo – I am very impressed and jealous
Thank you Helen. It was a fluke really, I only noticed it as I was editing the chive. I have no idea about moths and butterflies but am assuming it was a tiny moth – a pretty one.
What a gorgeous photo. I have just been chopping chives into a salad – in a hurry- so didn’t have time to study close up. Will go back and take a better look. Must slow down!
A little bit of meat in your salad!
Lovely macro!
Thank you
Something ate our chives early on this year (sadly not us!) – we are growing some more. Beautiful photo and, true to form, have scoured Google for you and think that the visitor might be a Mint Moth – your photo was so clear it was easy to match once I found the right one
Thank you Di – I just knew you could be relied on. I will read up about the Mint Moth… I don’t have any mint in the garden so it won’t be full of holes
