The Weekly Photo Challenge this week is ARRANGED.
Arranged. Sometimes you chance across things which were arranged on purpose, or on a whim – find something in your environment which was arranged by a human hand for others to enjoy!
Share a picture that means ARRANGED to you!
Most of my posts are full of photos of gardens, flowers and plants – not what I would term as ARRANGED for the purpose of a photograph, so my photo library is a bit thin on the ground this week. Not one ever to be deterred, I have found the following photos in my collection where I have actually ARRANGED items to photograph for the sake of writing a post.
Last July I wrote about My Perfect Meal and this entailed a lot of fiddling about with food on a plate, carefully ARRANGED to make it look appetizing.
The two photos below belonged to that particular post.
On another occasion was an ARRANGED bowl of tomatoes that I had grown in the garden for the Weekly Photo Challenge in August 2011 called “Mountain”. Now a tomato is not an easy thing to be ARRANGED because they keep rolling over, particularly the one on the top – they were determined not to behave for the camera.
There are times when ARRANGED things are not always neat and tidy but can be ARRANGED in a haphazard way, for effect. The next photo was taken at Sussex Prairie Gardens near Henfield. I loved the way the tea service was ARRANGED among the grasses.
My final contribution for ARRANGED is a photo that I have not ARRANGED myself but they are ARRANGED by engineers. These are the groynes on the beach that run down towards the sea. A groyne is a wooden or concrete barrier ARRANGED at right angles to a beach in order to block the movement of material along the beach. The seagulls love to sit on them too and I love to see them ARRANGED in a row.

I like all of them, but I think I especially like the last photo too!

Love ‘em – especially the seagulls on the posts
It’s the artless arrangement of the snipped chives that keeps attracting my attention’ especially as I try to drag myself away from the tantalizing blue cheese lunch you’ve prepared for us:)
Hi. I just hopped over because I came across your blog on the weekly photo challenge page, and I thought your title was interesting. I’m a little past 60 myself, and I guess that part caught my eye. Glad I came, because your pictures are lovely. Very good work.
Very clever Ronnie, to get all those gulls lined up at the same time! Briiliant shot. Dave
